Liu WenResearch Fellow

Born in 1963, graduated from the Graduate School of China Agricultural University and holding a master¡¯s degree in Agricultural Meteorology. She is now Chief of Sub-Institute of Food and Agriculture Standardization.

Mainly engaged in: Food monitoring and controlling, protection of geographical indication products.

Working experience:
1994 ¨C 1999. engineer, Quality Management Research Office, China Standardization and Information Classification and Coding Research Institute;

Now she is secretary-general of SAC/TC 313, and secretary-general of OriGIn China secretariat, member of the (first) national food safety standards review panel, member of SAC/TC 270 and member of SAC/TC 64, responsible for domestically specialized management of ISO/TC 34 and ISO/TC 34/SC 17.

Major achievements:
MS. Liu Wen has focused on researches over food and agriculture standardization since 1994, mainly engaged in the standardization of food risk monitoring and controlling, agricultural products processing, food sensory analysis, and protection of geographical indication products, etc. She has successively led and completed over 20 key national technological research projects and AQSIQ technological projects, developed over 30 national standards and written and published more than 40 books (pieces ) both at home and abroad. In 20808, she was granted the special allowance of the State Council.
She led to assume and completed the key special projects like ¡°food safety key technology¡± ¡°agriculture deep processing¡± of the national key technology program for the 10th Five-Year Plan period, as well as various tasks and assignments related to food safety standards system, agricultural products processing, food packaging safety standards system, food sensory analysis and so forth of the national key technology program for the 11th Five-Year Plan period.

Now she is leading the team and undertaking the task of ¡°food processing quality online monitoring and controlling technologies and integrated demonstration¡± of the rural industry areas for the national key technology program for the 12th Five-Year Plan period, and the special child-subject of the social development area ¡°food safety network information analysis technologies and alert model¡±. Since 2006, she as the person in charge of the secretariat has assumed the data analysis work for food production and processing risk monitoring data system and RARSFA by AQSIQ.

As the chief drafter, she developed GB/T 19538-2004, GB/T 22000-2006, GB/T 22005-2009, GB/T 23811-2009 and so on.

Awards:
1. 2007, Studies and Construction of Food Safety Standards System, a subject of the national special key research programs, first place of the first prize for Science and Technology Award by MOC China General Chamber of Commerce;
2. 2008, Studies and Establishment of Food Recall System in China, a China-Canada joint project, first place of first prize for China Business S&T Progress Award by MOC China General Chamber of Commerce;
3. 2008, GB/T 22000, first place of the third prize for China Standards Innovation and Contribution Award by SAC;
4. 2005, Agricultural Products Processing Standards System, a task of the national special key research project during the 10th Five-Year Plan period, first place of the first prize for the Science and Technology Award by China General Chamber of Commerce;
5. Standardization of Rural Technology Data Sharing Platform, second place of the first prize for China Business S&T Progress Award by China General Chamber of Commerce;
6. 2005, Agricultural Products Deep Processing Key Technology and Equipment Development, a task of the national special key research project during the 10th Five-Year Plan period, third place of the first prize for the Science and Technology Award by China General Chamber of Commerce;
7. 2005, GB/T 2828.1-2003, fourth place of the third prize for Scientific Development of Inspection and Quarantine by AQSIQ;
8. 2009, Standards for Agricultural Products Quality Classification, fourth place of the first prize for the Science and Technology Award by China General Chamber of Commerce;
9. 2006, GB/T 6379.2-2004, fifth place of the third prize for China Standards Innovation and Contribution Award by SAC.
