CNIS Vice-President Tang Wanjin Led Experts to the State Grid for Standardization Investigation

To strengthen the cooperation of CNIS and large state-owned enterprise, deepen standardization research, serve the society and expand the market-oriented fields, CNIS Vice-President Tang Wanjin led some experts from relevant research departments of CNIS to come to the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) to conduct an investigation and exchange in enterprise standardization on May 2, 2018.

Accompanied by Shen Jiang,and Zhao Haixiang, officials from Department of Science and Technology of SGCC, Tang Wanjin and his group visited the dispatching center of SGCC. In the later meeting, the progress and achievements SGCC have achieved in providing safer, more cost-effective, cleaner and sustainable electric power in recent years was introduced, experience and good practice in standardization was shared as well.

Focusing on standardization research, new energy standardization, social service standardization, standard information, electric system asset management, and smart grid national technical standard innovation base construction, both sides had a heated discussion and exchange, and proposed some ideas and suggestions about deepening cooperation in standardization.

The SGCC undertakes the important mission of ensuring the country's power supply providing power to over 1.1 billion people, covering 88% of the national territory. The SGCC highly values the standardization work, since 2010, which has taken the leading role in the development of 47 international standards, developed and revised 1346 national standards and industry standards, released 1865 enterprise standards. What's more, SGCC has undertaken the work of 5 IEC technical institutions secretariats and 37 national and industry standardization committee secretariats, playing an important role in supporting power grid business and increasing the influence in international standardization.
