Research on credit standardization at CNIS is guided by decision of China¡¯s central government to accelerate the construction of social credit system and establishment of an integral and scientific credit standard system. CNIS has been focusing on research and development of credit products, credit service and credit managment standards with highlights on comprehensive, systematic, extensive and specialized research on construction of a social credit system to serve enterprise credit management, construction of the industry credit system and the establishment of the national and local credit environment. It commits itself to providing technical and standards support to the establishment of a social credit system covering different regions and industries in China, and building a stable foundation for constructing a harmonious society and promoting sustainable and healthy development of the society and the economy.
Main areas of research and scope of work:
  1.Research on policy, theory and strategy of credit standardization
  2.Study on the latest development of credit and credit standardization home and abroad, research on credit service and credit product standards system, and development and revision of national and international standards.
  3.Fundamental application research and standardization research on public credit, enterprise credit and personal credit, and their credit inquiry, rating, assessment and informatization.
  4.Research on credit assessment system, credit certification system, credit information mechanism sharing and the platform standardization construction.
  5.Credit standardization training, technical consultation and application and promotion of credit standardization.
  6.Function of secretariat for technical work group on credit standardization of SAC.
  7.Representing China at ISO/TC235.
