The main tasks of studying and direction in the field of standardization of social responsibility (SR) and sustainable development are:
The standardization theories and policies studying in SR and sustainable development;
Drafting national standards and construction of the standard system about SR and sustainable development;
Basic studying about the good practice of occupational health and safety, SR, sustainable development, labor rights and social welfare, environmental protection etc;
Drafting and revision of series national standards of Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) (GB / T 28000/OHSAS 18000), and its related management system certification research and technical services;
organizing and participating Chinese social responsibility experts group of ISO / TMB / WG SR for drafting ISO 26000 by commission of SAC; secretariat of the China Mirror Committee of ISO / TMB / WG SR.
