Quality credit is an emerging field of research of the Institute. The main areas of research include: research on enterprise quality credit system covering enterprise quality credit models, index systems and classified standards. The Institute also cooperates with AQSIQ in quality credit administration and provides technical support and develops quality credit classification and administration software. It is also involved in research on the demand and application of "Gold Project"quality credit information system, development and revision of national standards regarding enterprise quality credit. Entrusted by the Department of Quality of AQSIQ, the institute is preparing the Quality Credit Subcommittee of the National Social Credit Standardization Technical Committee and it serves as its secretariat.
